How To Make A Crab Salad
Crab meat is low in saturated fat, tasty and easy to cook with. In this step by step guide Alex Beard, CEO of Alex's Supper Club, shows you how to make a delicious crab salad with avocado.

Ingredients
- 160 g white crab meat
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 lemon
- 2 limes
- olive oil
- 2 plum tomatoes
- 2 avocados
- chives
- flat leaf parsley
Method
Place the crab meat, the tomatoes de-seeded and skinned, the chopped coriander, the juice of the lime, salt and pepper, and a bit of olive oil in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
Cut the avocadoes in half and squeeze the flesh into a new bowl, add the juice of the lemon, salt and pepper, and mash with a fork.
Slice the cucumber and lay it in a ring shape on a plate.
Place a mould in the centre, then fill with some avocado, followed by the crab. Press down, then remove the mould.
Finish with a parsley leaf, a drizzle of olive oil and a grind of black pepper.
