Step 1: You will need…

  • 50 ml light rum
  • 150 ml coca cola
  • 1 lime wedge
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 shot measure
  • 1 measuring jug
  • 1 highball glass
  • 1 stirrer

Step 2: Prepare

Begin by filling the highball glass halfway with ice cubes.

Using the measuring jug, measure out 50ml of light rum and pour it into the highball glass.

Continue by measuring out 150ml of Coca-Cola and add it to the highball glass.

Using the barspoon or stirrer, mix the drink well.

Step 3: Serve

Finish by adding a wedge of lime and enjoy this refreshing cocktail at a hot summer's party.

    I've never had a cuba libre with lemon in my life. I sn't it the lime that makes it a cuba libre or else it's just a rum and coke with lemon?

    Whenever I've been served Cuba Libre's the bartender usually squeezes a lime wedge into the drink and then drops the squeezed wedge in the drink. Tastes much better than just putitng a piece of lemon in the drink.
