This dinosaur cake will be a roaring success for any child's birthday. We've teamed up with expert Sugarcrafter Jan Clement-May and sugarcraft school, Squires Kitchen, to show you how to make it. Step 1: You will need

Step 2: Shape the cake

Cut two of the mini swiss rolls in half, on a diagonal. Position these on the near side of the cake as legs. Use the third swiss roll for the neck. Unwrap the fairy cakes, sandwich them together using buttercream, and position them as the head.

Step 3: Buttercream

Cover the whole cake in buttercream using a pallette knife.

Step 4: Chocolate buttons

Press your coloured chocolate buttons gently into the buttercream. We're using orange and pink chocolate buttons, available from good sugarcraft suppliers, but your could equally use smarties or other coloured sweets to your own design.

    if you take the orange sweets of and put the green it looks like a tortouise!! lol but its still good though! :)
