How To Make A Fabric Bow To Decorate A Gift

Step 1: You will need

Step 2: Loop the ribbon

Take a long piece of sheer fabric ribbon and trim the end at an angle. Make several loops in the ribbon back and forth holing it in the centre of the loops.

Step 3: Tie together

Use curling ribbon to tie the bow in the centre of the loops and trim off the rest of the ribbon at an angle.

Step 4: Add a decorative pick

Bend the wire of a Christmas pick around the join in the loops.

Step 5: Tie to the gift

Tie the whole bow to the gift with curling ribbon . Trim the ends of the curling ribbon and fan out the gift wrap to make it appear fuller.

You could also add a ceramic gift tag which can later be used as a tree decoration.
