How To Make A Fake Mustache

Right, now I am going to show you how to make a fake moustache. Now, this method is particularly good if you are not going to have to wear the moustache for a long time, maybe a day, something like that. Really very simple and easy with stuff you can find in your house.

So, down here, we have got ingredients. We have got a pencil. This is going to be used to draw our shape.

I have got a dish cloth, a plain white dish cloth, and we are going to be using some double sided sticky tape here. We have got some optional paint. It is just for show here, you can make it any colour you like.

And we will be using a craft knife. You can also use a pair of scissors but this gives you a really good cut. But you must be very very careful.

It is very sharp so if you are a child and want to do this, please use a pair of scissors or get your parents to do it for you. So first of all, we need to draw our shaped moustache. We will do something nice and simple for today.

So we are just going to draw a nice, big, fat moustache like that. So now we are going to cut that out, making sure to keep it nice and taut. Really hold your hands down so that it does not budge too much and you get a good clean cut.

Now, we have cut out our shape here, you can, if you want, paint it. Very quickly, I am going to show you. Does not have to be black, any colour will work.

So now, how to attach it? Well, as I have mentioned earlier, we are going to be using double sided sticky tape. All you need to do is to remove the white piece and fold it as much as possible. Tape that on to the back of the cloth and then I am going to be using my daughter, Julia, to model my moustache.
