I'm going to do one of these for my dog to be our flower girl at our wedding. But I don't like the particular arrangement and especially would never use poisonous plants!

Why would anyone want to do this?? My labrador would not be at all happy to have that strung round her throat. I dread to think of what my friends doberman would do.

I don't like the particular flower arrangement shown, but I think it's a nice idea if you plan to include your dog in your wedding. I'm getting married in September, and I think we will have the florist make up something similar to this for our dog...she's our flower dog. That's silly to say it would hurt them...I have a 75lb dog that will be thrilled to be there with us. It's only to walk down the isle and then for pictures...after that it's back to her regular collar!

For a few minutes to walk down the aisle in a wedding and pose for pictures. Nobody (I hope) would actually make their dog wear anything like this for more than a few minutes to an hour to get some cute pictures and then move on. Inside the house, I don't even make my dog wear a *regular* collar (but of course her ID gets put on before we go outside). Yeah, I agree with the poisonous flowers. Definitely research this before making your own.

my husband is a florist and putting all this silk flowers on a dog would be scratchy and heavy, i have toy poodles and they couldnt walk with all that tape and wire. i suggest miss house and garden florist try it around her neck to see if its comfortable. that's how i treat my dogs, if it is comfortable for me it is for them. if i need fresh water to drink and fresh food to eat so do they. if i am cold they probably are too. lke when you have a baby, they are people too. if the bath water is too hot for you it probably is for the baby

Who would even think of doing this? It makes no sense. And it seems kind of mean.

I take it the author of this vid is not aware that ivy berries (English and Poison Ivy)are TOXIC and are potentialy fatal to a dog! This is wrong for so many reasons. Dwarf.
