How To Make A Frittata
A frittata is the Italian version of an omelette, and usually incorporates some additional ingredients such as meats or vegetables, making it a bit more substantial. In this step by step guide Paul Ellis, chef and cookery school owner, shows you how to make one.

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 red pepper, chopped
- 3 broccoli florets, cooked
- 1/2 cups (120ml) green beans, cooked and sliced
- olive oil
Method
Heat a little olive oil in a pan, then add your chopped red pepper and chopped onion and cook for a couple of minutes.
Whisk your eggs and add them to the pan. Let the egg cook a little, then mix it to help it cook.
When the egg is cooked, add the broccoli and beans to the frittata and heat them through. Season with salt and turn out onto a plate.
