Step 1: You will need

  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 75 ml white tequila
  • 30 ml Cointreau or triple sec
  • 50 ml lime juice
  • ice cubes
  • 1 saucer
  • 1 cocktail glass
  • 1 chopping board
  • 1 knife
  • 1 squeezer
  • 1 shot measure
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 1 strainer or small sieve

Step 2: Prepare your cocktail

Put the 2 tsp of sea salt onto a saucer. Rub the wedge of lime around the rim of the cocktail glass and set aside for later.

Dip the rim of the glass into the salt, leaving a generous layer and set aside.

Chop a lime in half and squeeze both halves thoroughly.

Put several ice cubes in the shaker.

Add the white tequila, triple sec or Cointreau and lime juice.

Firmly attach on the lid and shake for 20 seconds. Then remove the lid and attach the strainer or sieve.

Step 3: Present your cocktail

Pour the cocktail into the glass salt-rimmed cocktail glass. Make a groove in the lime wedge, place it on the side of the glass and serve.
