Make a Gift Tag Using Wrapping Paper. Don't throw away those old bits of wrapping paper, make them into gift tags. Arona Khan shows us how.
Step 1: You will need
Step 2: Cut out
Cut a piece of long rectangular card using a penknife on a cutting mat. Use a ruler to make sure you cut a straight edge. You can use scissors instead if you like.
Step 3: Stick on gift-wrap
Put some glue on one side of the card and stick it onto some leftover gift-wrap so it is completely covered on one side. Cut around the card neatly with scissors.
Step 4: Fold
Fold the card but not in half so that the back is longer than the front.
Step 5: Trim
Trim the front flap with pinking shears.
Step 6: Highlight
Use a metallic pen to highlight along the zig zag cut onto the back flap. Trim the back with pinking shears and then use a metallic marker to colour in the end of the card from the zig zag line.
Step 7: Make a hole
Punch a hole in the corner of the back of the tag.
Step 8: Add ribbon
Thread a piece of ribbon through the hole.
