Hi, I'm Bobby from 64th & Social and I'm here to talk to you about how to learn about gin. So we've got some earl grey infused gin here, a large measure of that to start out, and we're going to use heather honey water because heather honey goes well with gin, and we've got lemon juice, again fresh lemon, some citrus for it, and Scottish liqueur again goes well with the heather honey in there, and we just have a bit of sugar in there, just to sweeten in up, just to round it off. And what we're going to do with this, we're going to fill it with the crushed ice, and we're going to churn it all together.

This is essentially diluting and mixing, the same as shaking it was before, but Long Island style. More ice. And we're going to fill the top with soda, just to lengthen it a bit.

Straw's a win and a twist of garnish, and that's a contemporary classic gin cocktail, and that's how you drink gin. .
