Use a standard measure of 25 and 50 ml if you like, or "build" the drink, which means to pour the alcohol straight from the bottle. First, take a cocktail shaker and place 3 large ice cubes in it. Next, pour out 50 ml or a large splash of rum, and follow that with about 25 ml of Cointreau. Next, pour on about 50 ml of orange juice of 250 ml of pineapple juice.

Put the lid on, and give the shaker a good shake. Tap the lid to loosen it and put the strainer on the shaker. Use a sieve if you don't have a strainer. Now, add 3 large ice cubes to a highball glass and strain the cocktail over the ice. Add a dash of grenadine.

Take a slice of orange, cut a groove in the flesh, and place it on the edge of your glass. Finally, add a straw for a final touch and enjoy!
