How To Make A Make Up Bag

We need a zipper. I have chosen a 20 centimeters long zipper. We need our machine and that's it.

So, first, I prepare the handle. You iron this on both sides, approximately 5 mm, looks like this, and you fold it again in half. Stitch first the open edge and then also the other one.

The next part is the zipper. As all the zippers, you need first to close it and then press it open so that you have a very, very nice crease where you can see the edges for the zipper. So, I have marked already my beginning and my end.

From here until here, I will use my normal stitching. From here until here, stitching number 4; from here to here, again, the normal stitching of 3. Now, place this open and with your finger, you can already crease the line.

You can do this with your iron or if you want to do it faster, then you take your fingernail and scrub it. Now, I am opening the stitching number 4, again. Change my machine to the zipper foot and I am sewing now the zipper in.

Important is not that you leave the zipper open because now, we are coming to close everything and when the zipper is closed, you can't turn it inside out anymore. So, let's start. You need to take your little piece and put it on one of the sides, like this.

Line it up with the cutting edge. Now, to give the whole bag a deep, put your hands inside, and flip this in this shape. Line it up and sew across.
