Step 1: You will need

  • 25 ml light rum
  • 25 ml dark rum
  • 10 ml anise-flavoured liqueur
  • ½ lemon juice
  • 1 dash of grenadine
  • 25 ml coca cola
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 shot measure
  • 1 knife
  • 1 chopping board
  • 1 squeezer
  • 1 shaker
  • 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one)
  • 1 long-ball glass
  • 1 bar spoon or stirrer

Step 2: Prepare

Begin by filling the cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.

Using the chopping board and the knife, cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from one half of the lemon. Reserve for later.

Into the cocktail shaker add 30ml of light rum, 30ml of dark rum, 10ml of anise-flavoured liqueur, 12ml of lemon juice and 5ml of grenadine.

Make sure that the lid is secure and shake vigorously.

Step 3: Serve

Attach a strainer to the top of the cocktail shaker and pour into a long-ball glass filled with ice cubes. Top with Coca-Cola and serve.
