How To Make A Mask Out Of Card
Paper masks are great fun to make for a fancy dress party, or any time you want to be incognito. Professional prop and puppet maker Corina Bona shows you how to make one.
You Will Need
- marker pen
- masking tape
Take your piece of paper and fold it in half. Draw on half a nose, a V shape for the eyes, two lines for the eyebrows, and half a mouth and chin. Cut along the lines you have drawn, folding the paper in different places where you need to.
Unfold you sheet of paper, and fold out the facial features. Fold the mask in half again and cut out a face shape.
Staple the string to either side of the eyes and tape over with masking tape. Tie the mask around your head.
Leave the mask plain, or decorate it any way you like.
