Step 1: You will need...

  • 25 ml dark rum
  • 25 ml Cointreau
  • 25 ml single cream
  • 120 strawberry
  • ice cubes
  • 1 25ml/50ml shot measure
  • 1 shaker
  • 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one)
  • 1 cocktail glass
  • 1 knife
  • 1 chopping board

Step 2: Prepare your cocktail.

Begin by filling the shaker half full with ice cubes. Then add the dark rum, Cointreau and cream.

Ensure that the lid is firmly secured and shake well.

Step 3: Present your cocktail

Make a small slit in the bottom of the strawberry and place it on the side of the glass.

Attach a strainer to the top of the shaker and carefully pour the cocktail into the glass. Enjoy this basic but sophisticated cocktail on a lingering summer's evening.
