Step 1: You will need

  • 50 ml tequila gold
  • 30 ml pineapple juice
  • 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grenadine
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 chopping board
  • 1 knife
  • 1 shot measure
  • 1 cocktail shaker

Step 2: Prepare your cocktail

Put several ice cubes into the shaker. Take a lemon and chop it in half. Squeeze half lemon into the shaker. Then, measure out 50 millilitres of tequila gold, more or less a large splash, and pour it over the ice. Follow this with 30 millilitres or just a splash of pineapple juice. And finally, add a dash of grenadine. Secure the lid of the shaker on tightly, then hold both ends and shake at an angle for about 20 seconds. When you finish, remove the lid and put the strainer or small sieve over the top.

Step 3: Present your cocktail

Hold the strainer down and then gently pour the drink out into the cocktail glass. And there you have it! A Mexicana cocktail, made the Videojug way. Enjoy!
