  • pale peach sugarpaste
  • red sugarpaste
  • white sugarpaste
  • black sugarpaste
  • black royal icing
  • black paste colour
  • rejuvenator spirit
  • edible glue
  • cornflour
  • cake board
  • palette knife
  • piping bag
  • piping nozzle
  • non-stick board
  • rolling pin
  • brush
  • stay fresh mat
  • cutting wheel

Method

Transfer the iced cakes onto the presentation board, using some royal icing to keep them stuck firmly. Thin out some black paste colour with rejuvenator spirit and use this to paint on the face shape detail, using a picture as a guide.

Make eyes, a nose and a mouth with sugarpaste and use edible glue to stick them to the face. Pipe detail like eyelashes and dimples with black royal icing. Using red and white sugar paste make a bow and place between the ears.
