How To Make A Napkin Ring

Arona Khan shows how to make this Christmas adornment. A cheap yet stylish alternative for your Christmas dinner. The napkin ring will always impress friends and family, and here's how to do it!

Step 1: You will need

  • Leftover or recycled wrapping paper
  • Scissors
  • Matte or clear tape - use matte for matte paper or clear for glossy paper
  • Flat acrylic or plastic gem stone
  • And double sided tape or glue

Step 2: Cut out

Cut out a rectangular strip of leftover or recycled piece of wrapping paper

Step 3: Fold the paper

Fold the sides in and tape along the back.

Step 4: Fold the ends

Fold the corners of one end in and then fold the end over. Tape into place. Repeat this at the other end.

Step 5: Make the ring

Bend into a loop with opposite corners overlapping. Stick into place with double sided tape.

Step 6: Decorate

Add an acrylic or plastic gem stone decoration on the overlapping part with double sided tape or glue.

Step 7: Add a napkin

Pull a napkin through the ring. This is certain to add a touch of glamour to your Christmas place settings.
