How To Make A Natural Eyebrow Shape
Trying to fill your eyebrows in and making them look natural can be a bit tricky. Try these tips on an easier to achieve the look you want.
Hi there. I'm, Paula Sea bright. I'm a freelance hair and make-up artist.
I mainly work in TV and film, but I can still remember what's it like to be confused about make-up. So, I thought I'd come along today to show you some different looks and hopefully give you some new tips and tricks. Now I'm going to explain to you how to create a natural eyebrow shape.
So, when you're doing a make-up if you want to fill in your eyebrows and just give them a little bit more definition without looking to stagey and to strong and to harsh. The way I would create a natural eyebrow shape is to use an eyebrow brush like this one. This is quite a small one.
It's called a mini eyebrow brush and it has an angle to it. I don't know if you can see that, but the bristles are cut at a slight slant. And I would use a powder.
You can either buy proper eyebrow powder or you can just use some eye shadow that's in a colour that fits in well with your eyebrow hair. So, Stella, has quite dark eyebrows. So, I'm going to use a mixture of this chocolately brown and this kind of minky colour.
I'm going to mix those 2 together. And I think just using powder and a brush just gives a softer more natural feel than using an eyebrow pencil. So, I'm taking the product into the brush and what I'm going to do is I'm just going to feather the colour through the hairs of her eyebrow.
And I'm just doing. I can show you flicky motions like this into her eyebrow. So, that it's not to heavy.
And that will just really gently, just getting some more product. Now, just really gently fill in the little gaps and just give it a bit more definition without heaviness. And it just helps to frame the face in a really nice natural way.
I'll do the same on the other side. The good thing about using as well is if you make a mistake it's much easier to get rid of the mistake and just wipe it off with a bit of tissue or a bit of cotton wool. And then just start again.
When you're using a pencil it's a bit more tricky. So, it's as simple as that. That is how I would achieve a natural eyebrow shape.
