Today, I'm going to show you how to make a natural skin toner. To tone after cleansing and the ideal of toning is that it's refreshing but it also closes all the pores and removes any residue of cleanser of soap that you might have on your face. The ingredients I've chosen for you are aloe vera - to add to that refreshing healing element of your toner, and we've chosen glycerine - glycerine will help your toner glide nicely across your face and also allow moisture to be attracted to your face and lock on to your face.

So, this will keep you moisturized during the day. The main bulk of our toner is going to be a floral water. This is a rose floral water.

Rose is suitable for all the skin types, and especially good for sensitive or dry skin. I'm going to mix everything in a little beaker and then pour it into my bottle. I could just use the rose floral water straight on to my face without using anything else, too.

But the other two ingredients just make it a little bit special. So, I've put 80 grams of floral water and now I'm going to go with 20 grams of aloe vera. And then, finally, the glycerine.

But this one is slightly sticky. So I don't put too much glycerine in. It's quite thick and it wants to gloop out of the bottle.

But I'm going to try for 5 grams which I think is the right amount for my 100-gram bottle of toner. Perfect! I'm just going to put in 1 or 2 drops of rose essential oil. That will really boost the ability of the rose water.

Now, because the oil and the water don't want to mix, this toner really would need shaking before you use. What I need to do now is to decant it into my bottle, give it a shake. But I would shake before I use it each time. Well, that's how you make a natural toner! .
