How To Make A Negroni Cocktail

Negroni Cocktail. At the Dukes Hotel, Tony Miccilota shows us how to make a Negroni cocktail. Invented in the 1900s, this cocktail is named after an Italian man called Camillo Negroni who always ordered the same drink. Taste our Negroni Cocktail.

Step 1: You will need:

  • 1 old fasioned glass or a large tumbler
  • 1 cocktail stirrer or a bar spoon
  • 1 knife or canal
  • 1 25ml shot measure
  • 1 50ml shot measure

Step 2: Chill the old fashioned glass

Put some ice cubes into the old fashioned glass

Step 3: Red Vermouth

Add 25ml of sweet red vermouth.

Step 4: Campari

Now add 25ml of campari

Step 5: Gin

and 25ml of gin

Step 6: Stir

Stir gently for a few seconds.

Step 7: Orange

Add an orange segment

Step 8: Lemon Twist

Scrape off a piece of lemon peel and squeeze it over the drink, then brush it over the rim of the glass, and drop it into the drink

Step 9: Serve
