Step 1: You will need
- 45 ml rum
- 40 ml grapefruit juice
- 1 dash of bitters (such as Campari)
- 30 ml lime juice
- 1 lime slice, to decorate
- Ice cubes
- 1 knife
- 1 chopping board
- 1 squeezer
- 1 shot measure
- 1 shaker
- 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one)
- 1 cocktail glass
Step 2: Prepare
Fill glass with ice cubes and leave to chill.
Now fill the cocktail shaker half full with ice cubes.
Into the cocktail shaker add 45ml of rum, 40ml of grapefruit juice, 1 dash of bitters (such as Campari), 30ml of lime juice.
Ensuring that the lid is firmly shut, shake vigorously.
Step 3: Serve
Remove ice from the glass. Attach a strainer to the top of the cocktail shaker and pour the mixture into a cocktail glass. Decorate with a slice of lime.
