Robert from Sejuiced demonstrates how to make a nutrition juice with the proper equipment and ingredients to customize a combination fruit and vegetable juice for your own taste and nutrition requirements.
How to make a nutrition juice: Nutrition juices, vegetables and fruit, they're a great way of getting your vitamins and minerals, especially if you don't like drinking fruits or vegetables, it's a great way of sort of getting part of your fiber a day. For this demonstration, I'm going to be using broccoli. I'm going to be using carrots just to make it a little bit easier to swallow.
I'm going to be using apple juice just to give it a bit of sweetness. Now, to make your juice, you're going to need a juice machine, you can buy these in any sort of High Street store. This is sort of actually an industrial one, but you can get smaller ones on High Street, supermarket, or go online.
You're going to need a jug or container to collect the juice, and make sure you just have something at the back to collect any waste, any fibers. You're going to need a chopping board to prepare your fruits and vegetables. You'll need a knife and some water or vegetable cleaner to get a better clean.
Now, all you need to do with the carrots, these have already been washed, you just need to take off the ends and take off any bad bits that you don't want to use and also a little bit of broccoli. As I said, you can use any fruit or vegetable you wish, I would probably recommend using as many green vegetables as you can, as they have a lot more sort of nutrients. We're just going to have a few of those.
Now, we're going to put the vegetables in the top, we'll add the apple juice later, so put the jug there, the juice will be instant. Any problem with the machine, just turn it off and start again. Okay, so now it's finished juicing.
I'd advise you to just leave the jug there for just a few seconds while the remainder of the juice comes out. While it's doing that, you can get your cup ready and I would also advise perhaps getting another cup or container just to catch any drips. Now, just give that a mix and we're going to pour that in there.
What now we're going to do is just add a little bit of, I'd recommend getting some pressed apples, it's a little bit better than concentrate, that sort of thing. So pour that in there, give that a little stir, and a mix. As I said, that's a great way of getting part of your fiber a day and all the vitamins you need.
