How To Make A Paper Sword

Hi. This is how to make a paper sword - going to make an origami sword now. Fold the diagonal, and fold the other diagonal as well.

There we go. Fold the tip into the middle, turn it around and do it again. Turn it over.

Now, we're going to fold this edge into the middle. Now, what will happen is when we fold this edge into the middle, this bottom corner will pop out. Turn it around, and again repeat.

Now, fold this point into the middle. Turn it around and repeat. Fold the entire model in half and open it.

Now, we're going to fold this point to this middle point. Open it up. We're now going to fold this line here; basically we're going to fold that point to that point.

You have to kind of judge this. Then, fold it back on itself. So, I'm going to use a pen to show you what I've done.

Fold this point here to that point through this line, like so, and then folded it back on itself, and we're going to repeat the same on this side, so we're going to fold that point to that point along this dotted line. So, you've got something like that. Now, we're going to fold this line into the middle - the whole middle.

Crease it and undo it. Turn it around and repeat, this line, this edge, into the middle, crease it and undo it. Now, this corner, we're going to fold diagonally, like so, and bring back forward.

Now, this is called a squash fold, and what I'm going to do is I'm going to lift this part up, and where this diagonal fold is, I'm going to squash it down, so it forms a triangle, like so. Okay. And I'm going to repeat on the other side.

So, here, fold that part backwards, and just crease it, and undo. I'm going to fold along this line, and as I'm folding along this line, you see this part opens up, and as it opens up and I keep folding it, you're going to squash it down, like so, and you're going to repeat on this side, too. So, I'll draw the line again, fold it there, unfold it, fold it along this entire line, like so, and as you get to that part, this part opens up and you're going to squash it down into a triangle.

Turn around and repeat. Finally, you're going to fold this part to square it off, and there's your long sword. That was how to make a paper sword. .
