How To Make A Phone Call With A BlackBerry

Step 1:
Speaker- With your black berry there are three ways you can make a phone call. The first one is by using the numeric key pad highlighted by the white keys, by pressing these keys you will activate the phone dialing automatically. The second way to do a phone call would be to select from your contact list or address book the name of the person that you wish to contact and dial from that area. The third way would be from within an e-mail message that you have received that includes a phone number. We will now take a few minutes to review in details those three ways.
Step 2:
Lets now focus on calling from your address book. Lets move your icon over your address book and press the enter button to access the contact list. From your contact list, select the name that you wish to contact, by scrolling down with your track wheel. If you want to call this contact, press the track wheel again and look just a little bit below in the menu and it says call Benoit, in this case call this contact. If you press the track wheel, the call will automatically be selecting the two numbers or the multiple numbers that this person may have, asking you which number you want to call. Select the one that you wish to call, and once you have selected the number press the track wheel again and the call will be initiated automatically. This is the first way you can make a phone call directly from your contact. Lets terminate by pressing the red button. Now the call has been terminated, and go back to the main menu by pressing the escape button. From the escape, and we are back to the main screen. This is the first way you can make a phone call.
Step 3:
The second way would be by using the key pad on your black berry. Now lets take 2 seconds to look at how we can do that. Lets make a phone call, I want to call directly someone I know the number so I'm starting dialing, by just pressing the numbers on the keypad. Once you have entered all the number and you are ready to initiate the call, you can press the green button as it stipulates right here, to initiate the call, we press on the green button and now the call will be initiated. I press up the phone call and now you are now connected to this person and you can do a few things with your black berry. If you look here in the top right corner you can see the volume button or the volume settings of your black berry. By using the track wheel up or down you will select the strength of the volume by scrolling up and down, that will tell you the volume settings.
Step 4:
Second thing is if you want to use the speaker phone of your black berry you can press the button at the bottom right of your device where the dollar sign is and you have a black and white button with the speaker phone. By pressing the button you will activate the speaker phone of your device. This will be identified to you by a blue icon at the top left of your phone, you can see here at the top left that there is a speaker phone indication. If you want to terminate the speaker phone usage, you just press on this button again and the speaker phone will be terminated. Finally if you are in a call and you want to mute the call to listen while that the terminating the sound for your microphone you can mute this call by pressing the button at the top right of your black berry. If you press this button, the call will be muted indicated by a red X over the micro phone of your phone. To re-initiate the call you press the mute button again and the mute function will be terminated. Finally if you want to terminate a call, you just press on the red button, one second and after a second the call will be terminated, and the screen will go back to the main screen. This is the second way you can make a phone call with your black berry.
Step 5:
Finally the third way is from a message that you may have received that would contain a phone number, and lets move your icon over the message box, so that we can see which messages may contain phone number information. Press the track wheel or the enter button to access your messages, and select a message that may contain a phone number or message that you have received. we will go over to first message here, press the enter button to access this button, this message. From this menu you can see now that in this message I have received and I have signed a phone number, so your contact or your correspondent if they include their e-mail address or phone number, this number will be highlighted or underlined with a dot so if you go over with your cursor, you will see that this full number will become gray meaning that it is a link for direct access for your black berry. If you press the track wheel again once your cursor is over the number, you will see now that you can directly call this person, if this person is in your contact address list then you will see the name of the contact, if that person is not there for their number will be identified instead of the name. In this case if I want to call this correspondent, I just press the track wheel or the enter button again and the call once more will be initiated.
