How To Make A Pisco Sour

A professional bartender demonstrates how to make the cocktail, Pisco Sour, which is made with the South American brandy, Pisco. It's sweet, sour and fun!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz pisco
  • 1/2 oz sugar
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz egg white
  • fresh ground nutmeg
  • 3 dashes aromatic bitters

Step 1: Chill Glass

Fill up a champagne flute with crushed ice, and leave aside.

Step 2: Combine Ingredients

Into your shaking glass, add the pisco brandy, then add the fresh lemon juice, then the sugar, and finally the egg white.

Step 3: Shake

Add cubed ice to the shaking glass, attach a cocktail shaker, and shake.

Step 4: Garnish And Serve

Tip away the crushed ice from the champagne flute glass, detach teh cocktail shaker, attach a cocktail strainer, and strain the drink into the flute. Garnish with dashes of the bitters, and grate some nutmeg on top, and finally serve.
