How To Make A Raspberry Smoothie
Step 1: You Will Need
- 250 g raspberries
- 250 ml plain or vanilla yogurt
- 150 ml skimmed milk
- 8 ice cubes
- some greaseproof paper
- 1 baking tray
- 1 measuring jug
- 1 blender
- 1 serving glass
Step 2: Raspberries
Take 250g of raspberries.
To give the drink a thick consistency, and keep it cold, freeze the raspberries in advance. Lay them out on greaseproof paper before putting them into the freezer.
Step 3: Blend
Pour 150ml of skimmed milk and 250ml of natural or vanilla yogurt into the blender.
HANDY HINT :
Adding the liquid ingredients first stops the frozen fruit from blocking the blending mechanisms.
Next add the frozen raspberries and 8 ice cubes. Put the lid on and blitz until smooth.
Pour into a glass, add a couple of straws, and serve.
