How To Make A Rusty Nail Cocktail

Step 1: You will need:
- 50 ml Scotch Whiskey
- 25 ml honey flavoured whiskey liqueur
- 1 lemon
- some cubed ice
- 1 knife
- 1 short glass
- 1 cocktail stirrer
- 1 standard 25ml spirit measure
Step 2: Lemon
Use a sharp knife to cut a thin sliver of lemon peel. The white pith of the lemon will make the drink bitter, so scrape it away. Place the lemon twist to one side, for the garnish.
Step 3: Ice
This drink can be enjoyed with or without ice, but if you'd like it on the rocks, fill the glass with ice cubes.
Step 4: Whisky
Measure out 50 millimeters of Scotch whiskey and pour it over the ice.
Step 5: Honey liqueur
Add 25 millimeters of honey flavoured whiskey liqueur to the glass.
Step 6: Mix
Top up your glass with ice and then stir the drink until it is thoroughly mixed.
Step 7: Garnish
Run a twist of lemon around the rim, and put it into the glass, as a garnish. Serve.
