Today, I'm going to teach you how to make a delicious smoothie using yogurt and fruit. We have here ice, strawberries, some frozen raspberries and some frozen blueberries. I'm also going to add a little bit of banana just to thicken it up.

I have 200 ml of milk and you can use full fat, non-fat semi-skimmed and soy milk. Whatever milk you like and I have some probiotic yogurt. That just sort of helps your stomach, it is very healthy addition there.

What you'll need for this is all importantly a blender. You can buy these at most high street stores, supermarkets or online. They're pretty cheap and easy to use nowadays.

We're going to start with this, when you've got your quantities, you can, depending on which fruit you like, because you can obviously add different kinds of fruit to this. If you like more banana taste, add more bananas. If you like more strawberry taste, that's fine.

Whatever you like. So for this, I'm just going to add a little bit of strawberries, depending on size, a small scoop of raspberries. All of these are organic just to help keep out any sort of things we don't want in there.

Blueberries, now, I'm going to add a little bit of ice just to keep it a little bit colder. You obviously can freeze all the fruit, therefore you don't need to add ice. Okay, we're going to add the banana.

You can use bananas at any stage really. Just remember the browner they are, the more sugar content they will have, but they're perfectly good even if you think they're not good enough to eat. Put them in there and they'll be fine.

Okay, were going to add milk, we're going to add yogurt, just put that in there, that's just going to give it a much thicker, richer, creamier taste. All I would recommend is make sure you put the lid on properly. It's very easy for the lid to pop off and for your smoothie to go everywhere.

This blender here has a timer and it'll turn itself off in 15-20 seconds. Yours at home will probably just have a button you turn on and off so that's fine. I guess I'm going to put that in there and get my glass ready.

There you go. Now, all of these fruits that I've found can be used year round. They're pretty easy to find in the shops.

You usually find them frozen which makes it a lot easier. And there you go, pour that in there. Okay, we put a lid on and a straw, there you go and that's how you make a smoothie with yogurt. .
