How To Make A St. Patrick's Day Nutty Irishman Drink
Anthony and Stephanie show you how to make a Nutty Irishman for your St. Patrick's Day celebration!
Step 1: Meet Stephanie
Welcome to Art of the Drink, my name is Andy Caporelli, and this week we're working with a new drink art girl, but you probably remember her from the Maker's Mark egg nog episode, Stephanie.
Hi.Good, how are you doing?Good.
Step 2: The Nutty Irishman
So we've got Saint Patrick's Day coming up, so we've got to do an Irish drink, and I'm going to pick a classic one. I think we did Irish coffee last year, this year we're going to do a nutty Irishman.
Step 3: Recipe:
Really simple, absolutely delicious. Only two ingredients, we're going to start with a rocks glass, fill it up with ice, and Bailey's Irish Cream. And you want an ounce and a half of Bailey's Irish Cream, which is the majority of the drink, and we're going to top it off, this is the Irish part, obviously; the nutty part: Frangelico. So a little bit of Irish, and a little bit of Italian. A half ounce of Frangelico in there, and then we just want to roll this into a mixing tin and right back into the rocks glass. Serve it with a stirrer and a cocktail napkin, and that is our Saint Patrick's Day Nutty Irishman.

Good, rocks glass. You can tell Stephanie's been doing this for a while. She builds her drinks on the rail, just the way you're supposed to. An ounce and a half of Bailey's, beautiful. And Bailey's, for those of you who don't know, is actually Irish Whiskey that has cream added to it. And Frangelico, which is hazlenut. Roll, serve with a stirrer. You got it. Ready to go try these?
