Step 1: You will need...

  • 25 ml light rum
  • 25 ml strawberry liqueur
  • 4 strawberries
  • ½ a lime
  • crushed ice
  • 1 25/50ml measure
  • 1 old-fashioned glass
  • 1 muddle stick
  • 1 barspoon or stirrer
  • 1 knife
  • 1 chopping board

Step 2: Prepare your cocktail

Remove the hulls from 3 of the strawberries and place them in the old fashioned glass. Cut the half lime into wedges and then into half again. Put all the wedges in the glass with the strawberries.

Use a muddle stick or a fork if you don't have one, to crush the ingredients together. Add the crushed ice - enough to fill your glass, then the rum and strawberry liqueur and stir well.

Step 3: Present your cocktail

Use your remaining strawberry for decoration. Simply slice a groove in it and pop it on the side of your glass. Drink up and enjoy!
