How To Make A Strawberry Surprise

Step 1: You will need

Step 2: Freeze

Use frozen banana and strawberries to help give the drink its characteristic smoothie consistency, and to keep it cold. Wrap the banana in greaseproof paper, before putting it into the freezer. Remove the stalks from the strawberries and put them into plastic tubs before freezing.

Step 3: Orange

Cut an orange in half, and remove as much liquid from it as you can, using a citrus juicer.

Step 4: Blend

Remove the fruit from the freezer.

Chop the banana in half, and add it to the blender.

Follow this with 4 strawberries, the orange juice and 350ml of vanilla soy milk. Blitz everything at a high speed until the mixture is smooth. This should take about 30 seconds.

Step 5: Serve

Pour into a glass, and serve.
