Ingredients
- 70 ml cream
- 140 ml beef stock
- 1/2 soy sauce
- 1 white flour
- 1 water
- salt
- white pepper
- pork meatballs, cooked
Method
Add the beef stock to a pan and bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper and a dash of light soy sauce.
Mix the flour and water together in a bowl and add to the pan gradually, whisking at the same time to thicken the sauce. Make sure you bring the sauce to a boil to prevent the sauce from becoming lumpy. Add the cream and some meatballs that have been cooked off in a seperate pan. Leave the sauce to simmer and reduce by half, which should take between 5 and 10 minutes.
Swedish meatball sauce is delicious served with chips, mashed potato or rice.
