Wrap the box

Step 3:

Curling ribbon

Tie curling ribbon around all sides of the box and secure on top.

Thread the beads

Cut a length of fine wire and thread small beads onto it. Wrap the wire around the first bead to make sure the rest stay in place. When you have added the final bead, twist the wire around it and cut off the excess.

Tie to box

Secure the string of beads to the box with another piece of wire.

Large beads
-
Thread large beads onto a length of wire and twist the ends together into a loop. Tie to the box with the wire. Trim the ends of the curling ribbon.

Place card

Cut out a piece of card in a triangular shape. Write the name of one of your guests on the card and slip it underneath the curling ribbon at the side of the box. You can then use it as a pretty place card for Christmas dinner.

Hang on the tree

To turn the box into a tree decoration, simply attach a loop of silver cord to the top with some wire.
