Step 1: You will need

  • 25 ml light rum
  • 25 ml dark rum
  • 25 ml pineapple juice
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tsp maraschino liqueur
  • some Ice cubes

  • 1 knife
  • 1 squeezer
  • 1 shot measure
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one) or a small sieve

Step 2: Mix your cocktail

Start by preparing the fresh juices. First, take a lime and cut it in half. Then squeeze both sides and pour the juice into a separate container. Just give the squeezer a quick rinse afterwards. Then squeeze both sides and pour the juice into a separate container. Give the squeezer a quick rinse afterwards. Now, take a lemon, chop it in half and also squeeze both pieces. Keep the juice at hand to use a little later.

Next, put several ice cubes into the cocktail shaker. Then measure out 25 milliliters of light rum, or more or less a splash, and pour it over the ice. Follow this with 25 milliliters or a splash of dark rum. Then 30 milliliters of pineapple juice. Now, return to the fresh lime juice, measure out 15 milliliters or just a dash and pour it in. And also add 15 milliliters of the fresh lemon juice. Finally to complete the ingredients, drop in a teaspoon of maraschino liqueur.

Fix the lid firmly onto the shaker, then holding both ends, shake it at an angle for about 20 seconds. Put the shaker down, take the lid off and attach the strainer to the top.

Step 3: Present you cocktail

Take an old-fashioned glass, or any short glass would do, and add to it a few ice cubes. Then, holding the strainer down tightly, pour the cocktail out into the glass.

Cut a lime wedge for garnish. Enjoy!
