• 1 cocktail shaker
• 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one) or a small sieve
• 1 cocktail glass

Begin by using the chopping board and the knife to cut the lime in half. Squeeze out the juice from both halves (ensuring that you remove the pips) and reserve for later.

Continue the preparation by filling the shaker with several ice cubes.
