How To Make A Tropical Rainstorm Cocktail

Step 1: You will need
- 50 ml dark rum
- 25 ml cherry liqueur
- 250 ml lemon juice
- 1 tsp Cointreau
- Some Ice cubes
- 1 chopping board
- 1 knife
- 1 squeezer
- 1 cocktail shaker
- 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one) or a small sieve
- 1 cocktail glass
Step 2: Prepare your cocktail
First, prepare the lemon juice.
Take a lemon and chop it in half.
Then, squeeze one half, discard the skin and keep the juice close by to use shortly.
Next, half fill the shaker with ice cubes.
Then, measure out 50 millilitres of dark rum or a long splash, and pour it over the ice.
Now add 25 millilitres or a splash of cherry liqueur.
Followed by 25 millilitres or a splash of the fresh lemon juice.
And finally, add a teaspoon of Cointreau.
Now secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
When you finish, remove the lid and attach the strainer to the top (if your shaker doesn't have one).
Step 3: Present your cocktail
Hold the strainer firmly down, pour the drink into the cocktail glass and serve.
