How To Make A Tums And Bums Juice
Step 1: You will need
- 3 sticks celery
- quarter of a beetroot
- half a lemon
- 2 apples
- 1 ½ large carrots
- You may also want to add:
- a dash of detox tincture
- 1 Juicer
- 1 Spoon
- 1 Knife
- 1 Chopping Board
- 1 Glass
- 1 Jug
Step 2: Chop
Chop the apples into small pieces. Apples lower blood cholesterol, improve bowel function, and reduce the risk of strokes, prostate cancer, and asthma.
Cut up the carrots. Carrots contain more carotene than any other fruit or vegetable. The body converts this into vitamin A which is good for your skin, bones, teeth and vision.
Cut the lemon in half, remove the peel, and chop into small pieces. High in Vitamin C, lemons relieve cold and flu symptoms and can also relieve heartburn. They stimulate the liver and kidneys and also cleanse the skin.
Chop up a quarter of a beetroot. Beetroot contains is a great source of fibre. It contains no fat and very few calories.
Celery reduces blood pressure. It contains active compounds which relax the muscles of the arteries and regulate blood pressure.
Step 3: Juice
Turn the juicer on. Make sure the jug is beneath the spout. Add the apples, beetroot, lemon, celery and carrot to the juicer and juice.
Step 4: Optional extra
Fushi recommends adding a dash of a detox tincture blend to the glass before you pour. This one contains Burdock root, Dandelion root, Dandelion leaf, and nettle - a combination that aids detoxing and metabolism.
Step 5: Pour and Serve.
