WRONG WRONG WRONG

Without going into anal arguments about measures and twists, this video is basically wrong.

The vermouth should be stirred with ice in a glass beaker, then discarded according to the drinker's preference - how 'dry' they like it.

The vodka should then be added and stirred in the same way before the whole mixture is strained into the frozen martini glass.

The method in the video is wrong because the water introduced when stirring with ice is essential in softening the alcohol and introducing it to the palate, not just cooling the drink. A martini made only with chilled vodka and vermouth tastes awful.

Oh, and the whole 'shaken not stirred' thing is rubbish. It introduces bubbles that ruin the texture of the drink and - God forbid - shards of ice. Bond had his martini shaken to stick two fingers up at the trends and sensibilities of the time; to show he was different and presumably had no taste.
