How To Make A Zocolo Cocktail

Step 1: You will need
- 30 ml dark rum
- 15 ml tequila
- 50 ml pineapple juice
- 50 ml grapefruit juice
- 50 ml sparkling water
- 1 orange slice
- 1 pineapple wedge
- 1 maraschino cherry
- Ice cubes
- 1 shot measure
- 1 cocktail shaker
- 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one) or a small sieve
- 1 collins or long drink glass
- 1 barspoon or cocktail stirrer
Step 2: Prepare
Firstly, you should fill the cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
Measure out and pour into the cocktail shaker 30ml of dark rum, 15ml of tequila, 50ml of pineapple juice and 50ml of grapefruit juice.
Make sure that the lid is firmly secure and shake vigorously for approximately 20 seconds.
Attach a strainer to the top of the cocktail shaker and pour the mixture into a Collins glass or something similar.
Finally, add 50ml of sparkling water to the cocktail.
Step 3: Garnish and enjoy!
Garnish with a slice of orange, a wedge of pineapple and a maraschino cherry. An exotic drink that will make you feel like you're on holiday… even if you're not!
