In this easy to follow tutorial Eloise from The Gourmet Cupcake Company shows you how to make a delicious almond frosting to liven up your cupcakes.

Ingredients
- 250 g unsalted butter, soft
- 500 g icing sugar
- almond extract
Method
Put your softened butter and icing sugar into an electric mixer, or into a bowl if you are using a hand whisk.
Beat at a slow speed until the ingredients are combined, then at a high speed for 2-3 minutes. The icing should end up looking light and fluffy.
Spoon some of your icing into a bowl and add almond extract to taste.
Spoon some icing into a piping bag and pipe onto cupcakes.
