Step 1: You will need.

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 50 ml light rum
  • 50 ml pineapple juice
  • 1 orange
  • 1 dash grenadine
  • 1 dash sugar syrup
  • 1 lime
  • ice cubes
  • 1 hurricane glass
  • 1 blender
  • 1 squeezer
  • 1 knife
  • 1 chopping board
  • 1 ice crusher (or wooden pestle)
  • 1 ice scoop (or cup)

Step 2: Prepare the cocktail.

Begin by crushing some ice using an ice crusher or a wooden pestle. Add 1 scoop of ice to the blender.

Into the blender measure out and pour in 50ml of vodka and 50ml of light rum. Next, use the chopping board to cut an orange and a lime in half. Squeeze out the juice from both halves of the orange and one half of the lime and add to the blender.

Finally, add 50ml of pineapple juice to the mixture and a dash of grenadine and sugar syrup. Ensure that the lid is secure and blend on a low power for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Pour and serve.

Pour the mixture into a hurricane glass and enjoy ice-cold.
