Step 1: You will need

  • 1 Slice of lemon
  • some Some sugar
  • 50 ml gin
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 25 ml maraschino liqueur
  • 5 ml gomme (sugar) syrup
  • some ice cubes
  • 1 Cocktail shaker
  • 1 Cocktail strainer
  • 1 Martini glass
  • 1 25ml (1fl oz) shot measure
  • 1 50ml (2fl oz) shot measure
  • 1 Measuring Jug
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 5ml bar spoon

Step 2: Sugar-coat the glass

To begin, rub a slice of lemon around the rim of the martini glass, then dip the rim in a plate of sugar and slowly rotate the glass so that it is completely coated.

Step 3: Gin

Next add 50ml of gin to the mixing glass

Step 4: Lemon Juice

25ml of lemon juice

Step 5: Maraschino

25ml of Maraschino

Step 6: Sugar

And 5ml of sugar gomme

Step 7: Ice

Now, fill the mixing glass with ice

Step 8: Shake

Put the other half of the cocktail shaker on. Slap it down firmly to seal. Hold the top and bottom, shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.

When there is condensation on the outside of the shaker, and it feels very cold, then it's mixed.

Step 9: Release

Tap the side of the shaker to loosen the two halves.

Step 10: Strain

Now strain the cocktail into the martini glass.
