Step 1: You will need.

  • 50 ml Pisco brandy
  • 25 ml apricot liqueur
  • 50 ml orange juice
  • 5 ml lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Crushed ice
  • 1 shot measure
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 1 chopping board
  • 1 knife
  • 1 teaspoon
  • 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one) or a small sieve
  • 1 cocktail glass
  • 1 short straw

Step 2: Prepare the shaker.

Begin by half filling the cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

Step 3: Add the alcohol.

Into the cocktail shaker measure out and add 50ml of pisco brandy and 25ml of apricot liqueur.

Step 4: Add the mandarin or orange juice.

Next, add 50ml of mandarin or orange juice.

Step 5: Add the lime juice.

Then, using a knife and a chopping board, cut a lime in half and squeeze out 1 tablespoon of juice which is to be added to the cocktail shaker.

Step 6: Shake.

Finally, check that the lid is secure and shake the cocktail shaker vigorously.

Step 7: Strain, pour and serve.

Finish by attaching a strainer to the top of the cocktail shaker and pouring the mixture into a cocktail glass filled with crushed ice. Add a short straw and serve this deliciously decadent cocktail at a party or evening soiree.
