How To Make An Elf Costume

I'm now going to tell you how to make an elf costume. There are many, many, many, many different ways of doing this. You can do a beautiful one like this which time, effort and a pattern.

Then, you have some other ideas about how you can also create something like this in your wardrobe. Of course, any beautiful little party dress you have, it always helps if it's red or green or traditional Christmas colors. With just a little bit of ribbon, some holly and a little Christmas hat.

You can dress it up and make it look like a little elf's costume. Another idea we have, just an old pair of party shoes. These ones are lovely in red and all we have is a little bit of elastic and some belt buckles and we've created the perfect little elf shoes.

Now, I'm going to show you a really fast abbreviated version of fabulous elf dressmaking. So, ready? Let's do this. This is a piece of crushed velvet.

Now, can you please that about here in a straight line down? Notice there's absolutely no attention to detail. Can you please now where the neck is? Now, you know it's even because it's square there. Cut a little neck out.

Just here? That's a little bit, just a little bit higher. That's it. Cut the neck there.

Voila. We now have a very nice little elf's outfit. You put that there.

We take another piece of fabric. It could be gold. We have a piece of gold somewhere.

Can you please cut it there? Straight down. You, then, roll it. You create a sash.

You put a couple of little safety pins there and if you have a little piece of white fur fabric. You take a small trim of that and cut it right there. You put it around your neck and you have a beautiful little elf.
