A great way to whip ordinary cream is to put the required amount into an empty bottle and replace the cap. Then shake bottle, usually 10 to 15 shakes will do. This brings cream to perfect consistemcy. Next pour cream onto the sweetened coffee and whiskey over the back of a spoon, have the tip of spoon submerged in the coffee. Et Voila!!!!! Perfect Irish coffee with no cream sinking ruining the black look.
