How To Make Baby Wipes

Hi, I'm Laura Campbell from Babyladies and I'm going to be giving you some tips on how to look after your newborn and how to achieve the birth that you want. Okay, so I'm now going to be making baby wipes which sounds a bit of a fad, there's a lot of baby wipes that are already out there so you may think why bother. But I found these amazing products, all bum products that are chemical free and it just makes sense to use something that is very pure on your precious baby, and they are so easy to use and make.

And if I can make them, anyone can. So, all I'm going to do is get a normal kitchen roll and I've got this really good tub that I found, and I'll just cut this down to size. So, I'm just going to use a knife to cut that down.

Let's see I'm not going to chop my finger along with it, it's not good to have in the pack. Let's just rip that last bit off. I'm just going to fold that over and pop it in my container.

You could just use a Tupperware or quite like this one because it is round and all I'm going to do is I'm going to use a cup and into that, I'm going to put a tablespoon of the auburn body wash. This is really really pure and gentle on baby's skin. And now, I'm going to use a tablespoon of the lotion and then, just a teaspoon of the baby oil, and I would just say here, don't use anything with mineral oil in because it just sits on baby's skin.

So, you want something that is really beneficial for them. Just check the back of your labels. So, you just put a teaspoon of that in there as well and I'm going to top it up with some warm water.

And then, I'm just going to pour that over the top of there. Give it a swish around. It's not an exact science, so don't worry if you don't get the quantities quite right.

So, put your top on, give it a good shake and I'm just going to leave that for five minutes and go off for a cup of tea. So, after a few minutes, you'll find that the inner tube has gone kind of firm, kind of bit sloppy, so that comes out really easily and then we're just going to get the middle of the roll and pull that out. Now, my top has got a nice little nozzle in it.

As I said, you could just use a Tupperware and just pull them off. I'm just going to pull that through and then I can take that with me if I'm going out. You might want to pour some of the extra liquid off, and you've got your baby wipes.

You just pull that off and you know that it's nice and pure and you haven't got any chemicals that you're putting on your baby. Details of the auburn products are on my website, so you can buy them from there. .
