Ingredients

  • 3 chicken thighs
  • 1 butter
  • 250 g long grain rice
  • 1 tin cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion soup mix
  • water

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade.

Heat the butter in a casserole pot. When the butter has melted and is hot, add the rice and mix it around until the grains are coated in butter.

Add the cream of mushroom soup to the rice. Fill the empty soup can with water and add that to the rice too.

Add the onion soup mix to the rice and mix everything together to ensure there are no lumps.

Lay the chicken thighs on top of the rice. Cover with a lid and place in the oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
