How To Make Bead Necklaces
In this step by step guide Jessica Rose, from the London Jewellery School, shows you how to make your own bead necklace. Try using different colours combinations to go with different outfits!
You Will Need
- chain nose pliers
- side cutters
- 1 closed 7mm jump ring
- 1 bolt ring clasp
- crimps
- beads
- tigertail wire
Method
Cut a long length of the tigertail wire, then start threading on your beads on in any design you like.
To attach the clasp, thread a crimp on one end, then the clasp; thread the wire back through the crimp and squeeze with the chain nose pliers. Cut off any excess wire with cutters.
Do the same thing on the other end, using the jump ring instead of the clasp.
Make sure you fully close the jump ring with your pliers.
