How To Make Beaded Hoop Earrings
Jessica Rose from the London Jewellery School shows you how make beautiful beaded hoop earrings easily at home.
You Will Need
- flat nose pliers
- side cutters
- round nose pliers
- chain nose pliers
- 0.8 mm silver plated wire
- 7 mm open jump rings
- 2 pairs silver plated ear wires
- selection of beads
Take a length of wire, around 20 cm per earring. When making earrings, it's best to cut them together to ensure they are equally sized. Thread the beads in the style and design you would like. Begin shaping it into an oval or round shaped loop. Gently push the wire into shape using your fingers. To close the loops, cut them down and close the loop by twisting the ends around the round nose pliers.
Open the jump rings with your pliers and attach them to the loops using the flat nose pliers and the chain nose pliers. Gently open the loop at the bottom of the ear hook using the round nose pliers and thread on to the jump ring. Close with the round nose pliers.
